Description
This CPR/FA (first aid) and AED (automated external defibrillator) training course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to respond effectively to various emergencies.
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
- Perform CPR for adults, children, and infants, using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and administer basic first aid care.
- Respond confidently and effectively to a variety of medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
Course Content
- Recognizing and responding to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies
- Performing CPR for adults, children, and infants; safe and effective use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Administering first aid for bleeding, burns, fractures, and other common injuries; ensuring scene safety and using personal protective equipment
- Hands-on practice in lifesaving techniques; responding effectively to medical emergencies; supporting workplace safety through prompt and appropriate emergency response

1. When taught in person, this training must be conducted in a clean classroom with internet access, necessary hardware and software, and course materials, if applicable.
