- Examine and analyze a variety of case studies involving common injuries that occur on job sites
- Implement necessary measures to prevent injuries
Description
This course analyzes a variety of case studies involving common injuries on the job at CEI, how they occurred, and how they could have been prevented. The course also specifies the supervisor's responsibility in creating and maintaining a safe environment to prevent slips, trips, and falls.
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:

Identify most common injuries at a job site.

Mitigate those injuries.

Define what the Safe Path of Travel (SPOT) program is.

Identify slips, trip, and fall hazards on a project.

Mitigate those hazards before they become hazards.
