Description
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
A. Describe in detail the steps required to apply for the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
B. Review and answer questions on the nine domains included in the VTNE: pharmacy and pharmacology, surgical nursing, dentistry, laboratory procedures, animal care and nursing, diagnostic imaging, anesthesia, surgical nursing of veterinary patients, emergency medicine/critical care, pain management and analgesia.
C. Develop a study plan and organize study materials.
D. Complete a mock state board exam with a passing grade.
