- Prepare and produce accurate and comprehensive written topic review proposals to prepare for and pass the CA Registered Veterinary Technician Licensing Exam.
- Study and answer practice sets of exam questions with 75% or greater accuracy to prepare for and pass the CA Registered Veterinary Technician Licensing Exam
Description
Review of AVMA domains in preparation for the Veterinary Technician National Examination. Students will review the topics presented in the program and work with instructors to create an individual study plan for the Veterinary Technology National Exam. Guided review and discussion of exam application process. Intended for students in the Veterinary Technology Program; enrollment is limited to students accepted in the program.
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
- Describe in detail the steps required to apply for the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).
- Review and answer questions on the nine domains included in the VTNE.
- Develop a study plan and organize study materials.
