Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
A. Demonstrate injury evaluation skills for the upper extremity
B. Demonstrate on-field emergency evaluation and first aid response
C. Demonstrate fundamentals of exercise
D. Instruct beginning students on novice skills

A. Injury evaluation skills for the upper extremity
1. Evaluation of the wrist, hand, thumb and fingers
2. Evaluation of the elbow
3. Evaluation of the shoulder
B. On-field emergency evaluation and first aid response
1. Cervical spine injury
2. Thoracic spine injury
3. Lumbar spine injury
4. Internal injury
C. Fundamentals of exercise
1. Functional rehabilitation exercises
