Description
This course covers topics related to the hazards associated with electrical shock and arc flash, and the appropriate measures to take to avoid these hazards.
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
- Identify the dangers of electrical shock and arc flash.
- Demonstrate the skills to implement proper safety measures to prevent these hazards in the workplace.
Course Content
- Dangers of electrical shock and arc flash
- Identifying common sources of electrical hazards
- Safety measures for preventing electrical incidents
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Implementing protective practices in the workplace
- Developing skills to recognize and respond to electrical risks on the job site
