Description
This course covers procedures and practices to protect workers from exposure to human blood and Other Potentially Infectious Materials (OPIM).
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
- Recognize procedures and practices designed to protect workers from exposure to human blood and Other Potentially Infectious Materials (OPIM).
- Implement effective safety measures to minimize the risk of exposure in the workplace.

- Core practices for identifying and responding to potential exposure to human blood and Other Potentially Infectious Materials (OPIM)
- Focus on practical procedures and preventative measures supervisors can implement to protect workers and minimize on-site risk
