Description
This course is a seven class series that covers the duties of the general foreman at CEI. The course explores the top six focus areas that a production leader must prioritize to be successful at CEI.
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
- Demonstrate the difference between a manager and a leader, as well as techniques to make them better leaders.
- Define the role of the supervisor for both production and safety, and the tools they need to be proficient.
- Create a CEI master schedule using the CEI template on Livewire.
- Maintain the schedule, run reports, and resource load the schedule.
- Identify the roles and responsibilities for QA/QC and cost control on their project, as well as steps that they can put into practice.
- Use critical thinking skills to discuss "what if" scenarios and come up with solutions to the outcomes.
- Walk through the different electronic tools needed to be an effective leader in the field.
