- Utilize drawings to import profiles to draw the actual installation locations of work on blueprint drawings
Description
This course provides an overview of customized profiles in Bluebeam, including instructions for downloading, navigating the layout, understanding the contents, and effectively using these profiles to support project workflows.
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
- Download and install CEI's custom Bluebeam profiles.
- Navigate and apply profile-specific tools and toolsets.
- Import and work with construction drawings in Bluebeam.
- Use markup tools to digitally draw installation locations on blueprints.
- Save and organize redlined drawings for review and field use.
Course Content
- Introduction to CEI custom Bluebeam profiles
- Purpose of CEI custom profiles
- Overview of redlining standards
- Downloading and installing customer profiles
- Working with construction drawings in Bluebeam
- Drawing installation locations with Markup Tools
- Drawing accurate installation locations based on scope
Lab Content
- Exercises that import and organize PDF blueprint files.
- Exercises that utilize drawings to import profiles to virtually draw the actual installation locations of the student's work on their blueprint drawings.
Special Facilities and/or Equipment
1. When taught in-person, clean classroom with monitor and printed material for students to take as reference materials, and access to Bluebeam Revu.
2. When taught online, this course requires access to CEI's Learning Management System (Amplify), ongoing access to a computer with the necessary software and hardware to view video content, access to Bluebeam Revu, and a reliable intranet connection.
