Description
Course Objectives
The student will be able to:
A. Use air measurement instruments safely and accurately.
B. Correctly complete an air balance and hydronic balance report.
C. Submit a complete system report to client.
Course Content
A. Use instruments
1. Accurate and safe use of temperature measurement instruments
2. Differences between single and duel path duct systems
3. Common fan types used with duct systems
4. Typical pump types used on hydronic applications
B. Air and hydronic balance reports
1. Proportional and sequential balance methods
C. System reporting
1. Complete written reports on an entire HVAC system

A. Practicing safe use of tools and equipment
